Product Introduction
Molybdenum plate is a metal plate made of pure molybdenum or an alloy containing a high proportion of molybdenum as the main material. The product has a dark brown appearance. If it is washed with alkali, the surface will have a silver-gray metallic luster.
Mo plate is made by rolling a molybdenum slab that has been pressed and sintered. Usually, 2-30 mm thickness is called mo plate, 0.2-2 mm thickness is called molybdenum sheet, and thickness below 0.2mm is called molybdenum foil.
Mo plates of different thicknesses need to be manufactured by different types of rolling mills. Thinner molybdenum sheets and molybdenum foils have better curling performance and can be manufactured by a tension continuous rolling mill, which are called molybdenum strips.
Usually, the product with a thickness greater than 1 mm are supplied in hot-rolled state, and plates with a thickness less than 1 mm are supplied in cold-rolled or chemically cleaned surface state.
